Subject: Concerns about Incinerator Projects

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concerns about the potential construction of incinerators in our community. As a concerned member of our community, I firmly believe that these projects pose significant risks to our environment, public health, and overall quality of life.

Incinerators have been associated with several negative impacts, including harmful air pollution, groundwater contamination, and adverse effects on public health. These concerns cannot be understated. The release of toxins and pollutants into the air can exacerbate respiratory problems, increase the risk of cancer, and contribute to various other health issues. Additionally, the potential contamination of groundwater, which is a vital resource for our community, is a cause for serious concern.

We believe it is our duty to protect the environment and ensure the well-being of our residents. In light of this, I kindly request that you take a closer look at the proposed plans for incinerators in our area and carefully consider the long-term consequences. Our community deserves clean air, safe drinking water, and a healthy living environment. We urge you to advocate for policies and regulations that prioritize sustainable and eco-friendly waste management alternatives that do not harm our community's well-being.

Furthermore, we kindly request the opportunity to engage in an open and transparent dialogue with you and other decision-makers to discuss these concerns in more detail. It is crucial that we work together to find alternative solutions that are in the best interest of our community.

We appreciate your dedication to serving the public, and we hope that you will take these concerns to heart. Our community's health, safety, and future well-being depend on making the right decisions regarding these proposed incinerator projects.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am writing to you with great urgency regarding the proposed site for the construction of an incinerator near the City of Miramar. There is great concern among residents regarding the negative impact this will have on our health and well-being, as well as the environment.
As a concerned member of the community, I implore you to reconsider building an incinerator at the Opa-locka West Airport site. Placing such a facility less than a mile away from residential neighborhoods and schools poses a serious threat to the health and safety of over a quarter million people and many endangered species living in 'the Everglades. The release of
toxins into the air and water could lead to a host of health issues, including cancer, allergies, and respiratory problems, which our community cannot afford to endure.
Fortunately, there is a viable alternative that would mitigate these risks and minimize harm to both residents and the environment. The Okeechobee Road//Vledley site presents a better option for the construction of the incinerator. Not only is this site already zoned for such use, but it is also in an industrialized area and would have minimal impact on residents and would not pose a threat to the Everglades and its natural resources. Even the cost incurred by the County to purchase the site will be donated back to help the community you serve.
I urge you to prioritize the health and well-being of our community by selecting the Okeechobee Road/Medley site for the incinerator project. By doing so, you will demonstrate your commitment to serving the best interests of the people and protecting the environment for future generations.

Thank you for considering this urgent matter. I trust that you will do the right thing and select the right site.
